Yoga — from Nisan to you.

I live what I practice, I practice what I live. I teach what I was taught.

for me, yoga

means practicing consistently and with dedication in the pursuit of freedom and happiness.
Although in the first decade of integrating yoga into my life, I followed established systems quite rigidly, today my practice and my work no longer rely on the opinions, approval or validation of others.

I learned the art of yoga in India and continue to study and maintain my daily practice with dedication.
In 2012, I completed my first 200-hour yoga teacher training in Kerala.
In 2013, I made my first journey to KPJAYI in Mysore to study Ashtanga Yoga at its source.
Between 2013 and 2017, I returned to Mysore five times and practiced for a total of seventeen months under the guidance of Sharath Jois.
My practice and teaching are deeply rooted in Ashtanga Yoga, metta meditation and conscious breathwork.
It is my honor to share what was taught to me, with the same care and compassion, with everyone who wishes to learn through me.

“The simple and astonishing truth about India and the Indian people is that when you go there and live among them, you will be changed in some fundamental way.
Every day will teach you something new about the world and about yourself.
The wonder of it is that India is not just a place you go to — it is a place that goes inside you.
It reveals your heart to you.
It draws you, willingly or unwillingly, into the question of what really matters.”
